Suzan J. Storie

RENSSELAER FALLS- Funeral services for Suzan J. Storie, 66, of Rensselaer Falls will be private.  Mrs. Storie died at her home on August 29, 2019, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley. 

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Suzan J. Storie was born on November 23, 1952, in Ogdensburg, NY.  She was the daughter of the late Irwin and Mildred (Abbott) Shaver.  She was a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and the Roethel Business School.   On January 12, 1974, she married William F. Storie at the Ogdensburg Presbyterian Church by Rev. Thomas Patterson.   Suzan worked as a Medical Secretary for the St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center and United Helpers.   She loved to cook and travel.  One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her family, especially having her nieces and nephews at the family farm.

She is survived by her husband William F. Storie, her children; Gregory P. Storie and his wife Danielle of Rennselaer Falls and Lyndsay Ann Storie and her companion Bill Irvine of Rennselaer Falls.   She is also survived by her grandchildren Wiliam Irvine and Archer Storie.   She is survived by her siblings Keith Shaver and his wife Marlene of Ogdensburg and Sally Lovely of Ogdensburg and a special aunt Dora Paquette. 

She was predeceased by her brothers; Charles and Irwin Shaver and her brother-in-law David Lovely.
