Stanley R. Douglas

Funeral services for Stanley R. Douglas, 62, of Ogdensburg will be held at a later date to be announced. Mr. Douglas died unexpectedly at his home on March 19th, 2017.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.

Stanley R. Douglas was born on July 16, 1954 in Ogdensburg, NY.  He was the son of the late Ralph and Mary (Bell) Douglass.  He was a 1972 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and later Clarkson University with a B.A. in Civil Engineering.  He has had various jobs over the years, taking him to such states as Vermont, Colorado, Connecticut and New Mexico.  He was an avid reader, enjoying crossword puzzles and bicycling.

He is survived by his sister Suzanne Douglas of Middlebury, VT, his aunts; Donna Bell of Washington D.C. and Mildred Dillenbeck and her husband Richard of Ogdensburg.  He is also survived by numerous cousins.
