Mrs. Neail was born in Ogdensburg, NY, on July 25, 1927, daughter of Victor and Mae Lillian Buch, on December 18, 1948, she was married to Kenneth S. Neail at the First Congregational Church, Ogdensburg with the ceremony being performed by Rev. Roland N. Wendell, and Mr. Neail passed away on March 29, 1994.
Mrs. Neail lived in the Ogdensburg and Massena area.
Mrs. Neail worked at the Cleveland Container in Ogdensburg and at the Hepburn Hospital in the laundry for several years. She also worked at St. Joseph's Nursing Home.
Mrs. Neail was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ogdensburg. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved cats. She also enjoyed shopping and playing rummy "500". Many will remember conversations with her about her love for cats.
Mrs. Neail is survived by four daughters: Mrs. John (Susan) Miller of Brier Hill, NY, Mrs. Randolph (Betty) Hines of Massena, NY, Mrs. Kim Perry of Crosby, TX and Ms. Sharon Martin of Massena, NY; two sons: Kenneth Neail, Jr. of Monroe, NC and Gregory Neail of Massena, NY; one brother: Robert (Dragana) Buch of Anchorage, Alaska; 9 grandchildren and several great- grand children. An infant daughter Mary Ann predeceased her in 1950. Also, her beloved cat "Smokey" predeceased her in 2009.
The family would like to extend sincere thank yous to all of those who did so much to help and care for her. While we are saddened by our loss, we are very grateful for having had the pleasure of knowing and loving this wonderful woman. She will be deeply missed by all. Her spirit endures in the hearts and minds of her family and friends.
Calling hours will be, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 2-4 and 7-9 and the funeral service will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013, 10:00 am, all at the Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, NY. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Town of Oswegatchie.
