Roger A. Worden

OGDENSBURG-A graveside services for Roger A. Worden, 70, of Ogdensburg will be held at a time to be announced.  Mr. Worden died early Thursday morning, May 11, 2017 at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.  

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.

Roger A. Worden was born on June 26, 1946 in Ogdensburg, he was the son of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Pray) Worden.  He was a graduate of Morristown Central School.  For a time he  worked construction and also worked as a farmer on the Livingston Family Farm.    He enjoyed sports, Bowling, fishing, camping and playing Horseshoes in the Greenbelt Horseshoe League.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and nieces and nephews.  

Roger is survived by his sisters; Mrs. Lois Shoen of Waddington, Mrs. Jewel Backus and her husband Roger of Chase Mills, Mrs. Wanda Cloutier of Cicero and Ms. Polly Loffler of Massena.  He is also survived by his brothers Mr. Esbon Worden of Ogdensburg and Mr. Worth Worden and his wife Edie of Estero, Florida.  Two sisters and three brothers predecease him.
