A Funeral Mass for Patrick E. Denoncourt, 50, of Florida and formerly of Ogdensburg will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral with celebrant Rev. Joseph Morgan. Calling hours will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday June 4th, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mr. Denoncourt died unexpectedly on May 28, 2017 at his Florida residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.
Patrick E. Denoncourt was born on August 21, 1966 in Ogdensburg, he was the son of Joseph E. and Mary Ellen (Gaffney) Denoncourt. Pat was a 1985 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy. After finishing high school, Patrick entered the trades. He was a skilled Carpenter and General Contractor. He worked in the Ogdensburg area for a time, then Rochester and then most recently in Florida. In his younger years, he loved to work on motorcycles, cars and engines. He loved the St. Lawrence River, being on the water and fishing from time to time.
He is survived by his children; Nicholas, Connor and James Denoncourt, his parents; Joseph E. and Mary Ellen Denoncourt, his siblings; Myra Pitcher and her husband Curtis of Ogdensburg, Denise Barse and her husband Fred of Morristown, Joseph Denoncourt and his wife Jennifer of Ogdensburg, Michael Denoncourt and his wife Karen of Ogdensburg and Danielle Denoncourt of Ogdensburg. He is survived by his Uncles; Roger Denoncourt and his wife Jeanine of Manchester, NH, Robert Denoncourt and his wife Pauline of Manchester, NH and his aunt; Irene Shipman and her husband Merrill of Simpsonville, SC. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his son Cory Denoncourt.
