Mary Ruth A. LaRue-Miller, 82, of Ogdensburg, died, January 2, 2013, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. A funeral mass will be January 7, 2013, 1:00PM, at Notre Dame Church, Reverend Father James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery, Flackville. Mary Ruth is survived by her daughters, Michelle and Ralph Tavano, Clyde, Candace and Richard Stewart, Dallas, Texas, Pamela Norter, Rochester, a son Kim and Jody LaRue, Port Byron, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Terry LaRue, daughters, Deborah and Denise LaRue. Mary Ruth was born on May 26, 1930 in Little Falls, New York, the daughter of James and Beulah LaRue Johnson. She married John Rowe, he predeceased her, Leon LaRue in 1956 in Syracuse, he died in 1996, she then married Hank Miller, on February 14, 1998 at Notre Dame Church, and he died in May, 2010. Mary Ruth was a homemaker and oil painting artist. She was a member of Decorative Artist Association, Catholic Daughters, Clyde, St. John's Evangelist Church, Clyde, Notre Dame Church, Ogdensburg, Square Dancing Club for over 25 years in New York and Florida, Square Dance Association, and Clogger Club. She loved to square dance, sew, read and flower gardening. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
