I’m so sorry to hear of Ben & Bev’s passings. My late wife Joyce and I spent many wonderful times with them in Myrtle Beach and visited with them at their home and at ours in Jamestown, NY. I loved playing golf with Ben and visiting and playing cards together in their suite in Myrtle Beach. I’ll always remember Ben cooking the fish we caught on the St. Lawrence River–what a wonderful dinner we had together. My condolescences to both Ben & Bev’s families.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. Take comfort in knowing that our heavenly Creator will soon remove all pain, sorrow, and death forever! May this promise as recorded in Revelation 21:3,4 be of comfort as you gain the inner peace and strength to cope with the days ahead. Philippians 4:13.

TOM AND LINDA WEHRLE Nov 8 2013 12:00 AM

Dear Barb and Tom and family,

Please accept our deepest condolences at the passing of Benson.

As you may recall, he played a big role in my youth. I can easily look back at the fishing trips and duck hunting and wood cutting-splitting-loading-stacking and more than a couple home improvement projects.

Benson was always there with great humor and tremendous energy. He couldn’t wait to get started. It didn’t matter what we were doing. He was ready to go.

I think almost every fish story I have, includes Benson.

He never failed my dad. He was a true friend, loyal and willing and we are all better for having him in our lives.

He attended our wedding and was there when Dad passed. That was the last we spoke.

Please know that I will continue to think fondly of Benson. He was a role model for me and is someone I will always admire and look up to.

May God Bless your father and his family.
