OGDENSBURG- Calling hours for Leon R. “Rob” Morrow, 55, of Ogdensburg will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. following the calling hours at the funeral home with Deacon Mark Lalonde officiating. Mr. Morrow died on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Upstate Medical Center, following a courageous battle with Cancer.
Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.
Rob was born on January 17, 1962 in Ogdensburg. He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy. After his education he went to work for Basta’s Flowers for twenty years. In 1997 he purchased Nig’s Tavern on the corner of State and LaFayette Street. He operated the business for the next nineteen years until 2016, at which time he sold the tavern due to failing health. Rob enjoyed Boating on the river, flowers, working and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Rob is survived by his wife Donna Morrow, his daughter Molly Morrow of Rochester, his son Mark Morrow of Ogdensburg, his step daughter’s Meagan Law of Ogdensburg and Deandra Dublin of Lisbon and his step son Chase Lindenmayer of Ogdensburg. He is survived by his granddaughters Hannah and Leah Allen and Keighan Dublin and grandson Tristan Dublin of Lisbon. He is also survived by his siblings; Justine Morrow of Tennessee, Justin Morrow and his wife Marsha of Ogdensburg, George Morrow and his wife Pam of Ogdensburg, Michael Morrow and his wife Anne of Ogdensburg, Yantze Morrow and his wife Michelle of Ogdensburg, Debbie Knapp and her husband Al of Ogdensburg, Sue Poore and her husband Kevin of Rennselaer Falls and Bonnie Shaw and her husband James of Brownville. His Aunt and Uncle Betty and Butch Franche along with many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.
He was predeceased by his mother Annette Franche Morrow.
