Jeanine E. Thibert

OGDENSBURG-Jeanine E. Thibert, 90, Ogdensburg, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019, peacefully surrounded by family at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public funeral services.

Jeanine was born on March 1, 1929, one of thirteen children she was the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Duvall) Fisher in Ogdensburg, NY.  Jeanine married, Marcel J. Thibert on June 30, 1951.

She enjoyed gatherings with family and friends around the table at home or near the river. Her love for her family was her motivation for life. She was often with her grandchildren showering them with love. Jeanine also loved reading, poetry and doing ceramics.

She is survived by two children, Marcel (Kimberly) Thibert, LaFargeville and Daniel (Minka) Thibert, Ogdensburg; six grandchildren, Nicole (George) Kennedy, Andree’ (Aldo) Mey, Benjamin Thibert, Matthew Thibert, Brianne Thibert, and Jenna (Kristina) Thibert; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.   Also, surviving Jeanine are her sisters Marlene Dufort, Larchmont, Susan Catlin, Sheldon, VT, and her brothers, Jack Fisher, Ogdensburg, and Dick Fisher, Ogdensburg.

Along with her husband she was predeceased by her son, Michael. She was also predeceased by siblings; Stuart Fisher, Henrietta Fisher, Austin Fisher, Robert, Fisher, Jimmy Fisher, Jerry Fisher, Larry Fisher, and Lynn LaFave.
