James C. Page

Potsdam- James Charles Page, 65, died on, April 17, 2019 at the Canton Potsdam Hospital.  He was born on November 14, 1953 in Massena, NY to the late Roy James and Marie McGown Page.  He graduated from Norwood Norfolk School.  He retired from J.C. Merriman’s as a Lumber Yard Attendant.

He was previously married to Patricia Allen Baxter.

There will be no public calling hours or service.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home located at 324 New York Avenue in Ogdensburg, NY 13669. He is survived by his daughter, Megan Page and her Fiancé James Wolf, Parishville, Ny; and siblings, Tom (Kathy) Page, PA; and Patty (Jeff) Hunter, Potsdam; and 6-grandchildren, Mackensie, Shelbie, and Trent Briggs; and Dylan Page, Raelyn and John Wolf.

He loved his grandchildren more than life and he enjoyed fishing, ice-fishing and was an avid hunter, he loved his animals. He was a member of the Norwood American Legion, where he served his community in many capacities donating his time cooking for the community barbeques. He also served as a volunteer fireman for West Stockholm.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the family donations will be divided equally between our loved one's favorite charity and the cost of dad’s final expenses.
