OGDENSBURG- A private funeral for Jacqueline June LaComb, 89, of Ogdensburg will be held for immediate family.  Entombment will also be private at the Foxwood Memorial Park.    Mrs. Lacomb died on Wednesday evening, January 13, 2021, at the St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Ogdensburg.   A public Celebration of Life and Memorial Mass will be held at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home. Jacqueline June LaComb was born on January 3rd, 1932 in Ogdensburg.  She was the daughter of the late A. Lawrence and Reta (Bouchard) Swan.   She was a 1950 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and on August 29th, 1950 she married Clarence “Butch” LaComb at the Sacred Heart Chapel.  Clarence predeceased her on January 1, 2011.  Jacqueline was a lifelong parishioner of Notre Dame Church, she enjoyed knitting, volunteering at Our Lady’s Outreach Ministry (formerly known as St.Vincent De Paul Society), the Altar Rosary Society at Notre Dame, crossword puzzles, yard sales, and most of all spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her children; Karen Katzman and her husband Grover of Dekalb, NY, Janice Tebo and her husband Don of Ogdensburg, Diane Spears and her husband Ron of Ogdensburg, Jeffrey LaComb and his wife Cathy of Syracuse and Lori Davis and her husband Michael of Heuvelton.   She is survived by her grandchildren; Catherine Stewart, Gene and Ben Katzman, Matthew Tebo, Michelle Schulz, Jordan, and Alison Spears, Erica Aldrich, Elizabeth LaComb, Helena Kennedy, Samantha Sawyer, Emily Davis, Sadie Hunt and Blair Davis.  Twelve great-grandchildren also survive her. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence “Butch” LaComb, her parents; A. Lawrence and Reta (Bouchard) Swan and her brother Sam Swan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Jacqueline’s memory be made to the Notre Dame Heritage Fund 125 Ford Ave Ogdensburg, NY or to  the Our Lady of Outreach Ministry 214 Morris Street Ogdensburg, NY 13669.
