Heather Ann Brenno

August 31, 1965 — March 10, 2018

OGDENSBURG-Calling hours for Heather Ann Brenno, 52, of Ogdensburg will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be private.   Mrs. Brenno died on Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the arms of her beloved husband and surrounded by her loving family, at her home following a courageous four-year battle with Cancer.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.

Heather A. Brenno was born on August 31, 1965 in Ogdensburg, NY.  Heather was the daughter of Basil P. and Mary (Mallette) Brenno.  She was a 1983 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy and furthered her education at SUNY Canton with an Associate degree in education.

Heather worked at the Stone Fence Restaurant with dear friends; Bruce and Bonnie LaRose as well as the Donut King and Buster’s Restaurants for many years.   Currently Heather worked for St. Lawrence-Lewis B.O.C.E.S. Northwest Tech as a Teaching Assistant.  On February 14, 2005 she married Wayne F. Cross.   The couple enjoyed the outdoors, snowmobiling, boating and camping.  She enjoyed the family’s annual vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. Heather enjoyed the company of her cats Isabelle and Princess.     Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved husband, children and her best friend Becky Piercey.  Heather’s beautiful smile and spirit will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Wayne F. Cross, her sons; Jebadiah Brenno and Mician Cross and her daughter Miah Cross and her grandson Kohen Brenno.  She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Brenno of Ogdensburg, her brothers Robert Brenno, Scott (Joanna) Brenno , Mark Mallette and Joe Mallette all of Ogdensburg.  She is survived by her sister Teresa Brenno of Ogdensburg.  Her mother-in-law Diana Cross and brother-in-law Anthony (Darcie) Cross as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. 

She was predeceased by her father, Basil P. Brenno.
