Donald E. Tucker

RENSSELAER FALLS-Donald E. “Tuck” Tucker, 75, of Rensselaer Falls died on Saturday, August 26,2017 at his home.  In accordance with his wishes there will be no funeral services. 

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Donald E. Tucker was born on January 30, 1942 in Valparaiso, IN.  He was the son of the late James and Mary Jane (Brown) Kincaid. He grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  It was a tradesman job that brought him to Rochester, New York where he would meet Jacalyn “Jackie McNamara and on August 30,1968, he married Jackie, their marriage ended in divorce, but they would remain great friends and companions for life.   He worked as a Pipefitter for the Steamfitters Local 73, Oswego, NY, he specialized in Nuclear and Industrial Power Plant work and helped in the construction of 9 Mile Point and Seabrook Nuclear Power Plants. From a young age he loved horses, at age 15 he bought his first horse.  In his younger years was a Rodeo Cowboy.   He will be remembered as a generous, well liked good man, with an independent and proud spirit that made up his strong character and honest good nature.

 

He is survived by his son; Justin D. Tucker and his fiancé Audra Petrolle of Phoenix, AZ and his daughter Dallas Smith and her husband Aaron of Columbia, SC and their child and his Grandson Jaxson Smith.  He is also survived by his brother; Robert Kincaid of Florida and his sister Tanya Thompson of Prescott Valley, AZ along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

 

In lieu of flowers the family of Donald E. Tucker Requests donations in his memory be made to The Heuvelton Fire Department 95 State Street Heuvelton, NY 13654.
