Danny W. Ghize

WADDINGTON - A Memorial Service for Danny W. Ghize, 54, of Waddington will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 7 p.m. at 311 Washington Street in Ogdensburg with Pastor Ben Levendusky officiating.  Mr. Ghize passed away at his home on November 5, 2016 following a long illness with lymphedema.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home, Ogdensburg.

Danny was born in Ogdensburg  on October 29, 1962. He was the son of George D. and Sara M. Ghize.  He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy.    He was the manager of the family owned business, Ghize’s Garage in Ogdensburg for many years.  He owned and operated Ghize’s Rapid Response Roadside Service in Florida until the time of his illness.

He is survived by his mother Sara Ghize; two daughters, Natasha and Brooke Ghize of Ogdensburg, N.Y. ; two sons; George Ghize, III and Kyle Mashaw of Ogdensburg, N.Y.;  three sisters;  Debra and her husband Arne Ormasen of Richville, N.Y., Cindy Ghize and her husband Scott Trotter of Ogdensburg, N.Y., and Lily Dodge of Florida.; and by loving grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.   

He was predeceased by his father, George D. Ghize.
