Ogdensburg- Craig William Sharpe, 37, of 419 Grant Street, died suddenly on Thursday evening, June 14, 2018 in automobile accident. He was born on May 16, 1981 in Ogdensburg, NY to Ronald & Vicky (Hurst) Sharpe. Craig graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 2000. He went on to attend SUNY Canton where he participated in the (HVAC) program in 2001.
He worked for Rt. 11 Truck & Equipment Sales & Service, Canton and his most recently employed by Continental Construction out of Fowler, NY as a carpenter.
He is survived by his parents, Vicky A. & Ronald E. (Shari) Sharpe, Ogdensburg; his Daughter, Cambree Sharpe & her mother Celeste Dutchess, Davenport, Fl; a sister, Kelly E. Sharpe, Kissimmee, Fl; his maternal grandmother, Eileen (Hurst) & Victor Lippert, his maternal grandparent, Noriene Sharp, Ogdensburg, an uncle Stephen (Anna) Hurst, Ocala, Fl; Valerie (Randy) Bean, Tupperlake; Douglas (Martha) Smith, Ogdensburg; Michael (Robin) Smith, Ogdensburg; Judy Streeter, Massena; James A. Sharpe, Ogdensburg, and Lisa (Rich) Ormsbee, Ogdensburg. He is also survived by several cousins.
He is predeceased by both his grandfathers, John D. Smith & Elwood F. Sharpe, an uncle William Hurst Jr.
Craig loved life, he lived life on the edge, he enjoyed nice, fast cars, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and good music. He loved to go fishing and being on the river. Most of all he cherished being a father. He loved spending time with his friends and his family.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home Inc., located at 324 New York Avenue, Ogdensburg, NY. Burial will be private. Online condolences can be made at www.laruepitcher.com
