OGDENSBURG-A Memorial Service for Carolyn Ann Dishaw, 67, of Ogdensburg will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home, with Deacon Mark Lalonde officiating. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery. Ms. Dishaw passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Riverledge Nursing Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.
Carolyn Ann Dishaw was born on January 20, 1950 in Ogdensburg, NY. She was the daughter of the late Homer and Beulah (Ruley) Dishaw. She attended Ogdensburg Free Academy. She worked for the ARC in Hermon and Ogdensburg over the years and she loved volunteering at the Salvation Army Seek and Find Shop. She enjoyed going to Senior Dances, Elvis Presley music and collecting Elvis memorabilia and playing her country music cassettes. One of her favorite events was the Ogdensburg Seaway Festival, especially attending the parade.
She Is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; David and Bonnie Dishaw of Ogdensburg, her sister Marsha Morley of Depeyster, sister-in- law Sharon Dishaw of Ogdensburg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother Joseph H. Dishaw, her sister Judith Donnelly and her brother-in-law Donald Morley.
