Carl S. Murphy

Carl S. Murphy, 66, died on October 12, 2015, at his home in Morristown. Calling hours will be, Saturday, October 17, 11 am - 1 PM, funeral service, 1 PM, all at the Presbyterian Stone Church, Pastor David Hart officiating burial will follow in Stone Church Cemetery, Morristown. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth and wife Carla O'Brien of Oak Harbor, Washington, sisters, Christine Youngs of South Hammond, Louise O'Brien of Ogdensburg, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Eileen Murphy. Carl was born on August 27, 1949 in Carmel, New York, the son of the late Patrick C. Murphy and Joyce M. Mead O'Brien. He graduated from Carmel High School, was a maintenance worker at Mater Dei College, Ogdensburg and prior to that worked at Guide Post Literary in Carmel, New York.
