Beverly J. Green

Beverly J. Green, 82, of Lisbon, died on November 3, 2013, at River Ledge United Helpers. A funeral mass will be on November 8, 2013 at 9 am at St. Mary's Cathedral, Ogdensburg, Father Joseph Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Beverly is survived by her children Barbara and Dick Durkin, Hannawa Falls, Lynn and Donald Lucas, Massena, Melody and Christopher Hess, Bristow,VA, James and Lori Green, Ogdensburg, Patricia and Peter Mountzouris, Marlborough, MA, sisters, Norma and Keith Stiles, Joan and Grady Howard, Barbara Aumell and Therese Legendre, 13 grand children, 13 great grandchildren, her companion’s daughter and son in law, Barbara and Tom Sherry, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a infant daughter Beverly J. Green in 1951, her companion of 23 years Lloyd "Ben" Compo, on Nov. 1, 2013and her siblings Lois Heagle, Leon Aumell, Donald Aumell and Linda Kutka. She was born on November 9, 1930, the daughter of Lawrence and Geneva Denny Aumell. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1948. She married James L. Green on February 24, 1949, he died September 30, 1987. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Claxton Hepburn for 31 years and prior to that she was the "House Mother" for 10 years at the A. Barton Hepburn School of Nursing. She loved spending time with her family, knitting, quilting, fishing on the St. Lawrence River, bird watching, putting puzzles together, sewing, and spending winters in Myrtle Beach.
