Allen R. LaRock

Allen R. LaRock, 64, formally of Chase Mills, died, September 30, 2011, at Canton Potsdam Hospital, Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg, in care of arrangements. A memorial service will be held on, Saturday, October 15th, 1:00 PM, at Notre Dame Church, Ogdensburg, Reverend Father James Shurtleff officiating. Allen is survived by, his sister, Susan (Hal) Fieldson LaValley, Chase Mills, sister in law Sharon LaRock, Ogdensburg, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother William LaRock. Allen was born August 12, 1947 in Ogdensburg, the son of Jerome and Ione Graveline LaRock. He worked for NYSARC in Canton. Allen loved spending time with his family, bowling, playing cards, fishing, making puzzles, working on small engines and music. He was a parishioner at Notre Dame Church and was an athlete participating in Area 27 Special Olympics.
