Alan Livingston

Alan Livingston, 49, of Lisbon, died March 10, 2011, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg is in care of arrangements. Calling hours will be Monday, March 14, 2011, 1 - 3 p.m., the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Reverend David McDonald officiating. A private interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.

Alan is survived by his mother, Marion Livingston of Ogdensburg; a son, Alan L. Livingston Jr. of Lisbon; a daughter, Nicole Livingston of Ogdensburg; a brother, Jay (Janet) Livingston of Lisbon; sisters, Ruth (Alan) Laughman of Canton, Norma (William) Amthor of Duluth, GA, Nancy (James) Kamperman of Endicott, Elaine Stewart Sanderson of Lisbon, several nieces and nephews.

He was born May 26, 1961 in Ogdensburg, the child of Leonard and Marion Henry Livingston. He graduated from Lisbon Central School in 1978. Alan was a co-owner and partner at Livingston Farms in Lisbon. He also was a herdsman and calf raiser.

He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and raising puppies.
