Garry "Bo" Gascon

OGDENSBURG- Garry M. “Bo” Gascon, 63, of 33 Leroux Ave in Cranberry Lake and formerly of Albany Avenue in Ogdensburg died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Clifton-Fine Hospital in Star Lake after being suddenly stricken at his home.  A Graveside Service for Garry M. “Bo” Gascon, 68, will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12:00pm in the Cranberry Lake Cemetery. Calling hours were held on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 12:00pm-2:00pm & 4:00pm-7:00pm at the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00am at the United Methodist Church located at 627 Caroline Street in Ogdensburg, NY. 13669 Arrangements are under the direction of the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home. Located at 324 New York Avenue, Ogdensburg. Garry was born on November 30, 1957 in Ogdensburg, New York to the late Geraldine (O’Marah) Amo & Norman Gascon. Garry graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1976. He married Cindy Smith on August 11, 1984 at the First Congregational Church in Ogdensburg, NY. He was employed by Pepsi-Cola Ogdensburg Bottlers, where he worked for 30 years as a Vending Tech retiring in 2019. After his retirement the couple moved to Cranberry Lake. Garry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he loved snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, boating, and riding his motorcycle & watching Nascar.  He was a member of the BoonDockers & Cranberry Lake Snowmobile Clubs. He also enjoyed entertaining, hosting his summer barbecues. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cindy Gascon, Cranberry Lake; a daughter Aleesha (Michael) Crobar, Heuvelton; Arron Gascon and his companion Alexa Cleveland, Heuvelton; and Adam Gascon, Ogdensburg, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gage Crobar, Leah Crobar, Beau Gascon, Grant Gascon, and Briella Gascon; a nephew Eric West and a niece April Bingel and several other very special nieces and nephews on the Smith side of the family.
